April A to Z Challenge: N is for note

There are so many meanings of note: I will note that or make a note.  I will send him a note, jot down some notes, he noted down the address. He is very noteworthy.  Take some notes do you have a notebook?  My favourite meaning of note is that funny little squiggle on the stave which is what we use in music.  I look at them in the music score and my head fills with harmonies and sounds as I sing it in my head.  I learnt to read music from a very early age and it is another language but it is shared with people all over the world.  We all read the same music.  It is a great unifier. What joy those little notes bring.
