wedding rehearsal

I have just returned from a wedding rehearsal which was held in a local park under a big rotunda.  It was in the shade with a breeze and was very pleasant.  I managed to squeeze the you tube videos onto my ipod  yesterday with my son’s help which was a relief.  However when I arrived I plugged the ipod into my P.A system to find it had completely jammed!  Fortunately I remembered the trick to get it working again.  Everything went smoothly at the rehearsal so I am looking forward to their wedding day next Saturday.  Rehearsals are great to iron out little problems and quite often it is not until the day of the rehearsal that everything becomes very real for the bride and groom and they become quite emotional.  I never go through the ceremony word for word but just run through the basic structure of the ceremony so as not to spoil it for the big day.  I also get the bridal party to practise their walk in with the music and work out the best positions for everyone to stand.  It makes everyone more relaxed when they can visualise how it will all come together.
