Summer holidays: time to declutter

I decided to start with the kitchen pantry.  How many dozens of preserving jars do I need!  Most of them empty but quite a few large jars of preserved apricots and plums bottled when we had fruit trees.  I keep forgetting there is only two of us and I am not feeding a family of five anymore!  My son and his friend used to love the blood plums with icecream and the whole family loved the apricot pies and strudels.  I’m sure I will find a use for the extra space and three dozen bottles have been sold I still have plenty.  Maybe I will start on the spice cupboard tomorrow.
