We have done this trip many times to visit our daughter. Straight up the Hume and they live off the highway about 20 minutes north of Goulburn. We know it is going to be boring and my husband does most of the driving as I dislike driving. I keep myself amused checking the gps, playing games on my phone reading the paper and playing the target word game in the paper. It is always a challenge to get the nine letter word and get enough words to get at least the good category. We usually take food and just stop for fuel. We usually arrive mid afternoon and when we reach their property the grandchildren run out to greet us very excited which makes it all worthwhile. Last night we sat on their back deck celebrating the end of another happy and successful year. I looked up at the sky and it was the most amazing display of stars I have ever seen better than any fireworks!n
