Why do I sing? Part three

The Nurses Choir are doing extremely well so I leave them be but keep an interest and attend their concerts when I can.  Meanwhile I have been a member of The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir since 2001.  It is an auditioned choir and you are required to pay annual membership for the honour of being in the choir.  It is one of the few choirs that still performs big classical works with full orchestra in venues such as The Melbourne Town Hall,  The Melbourne Recital Centre, Deakin Edge and St Pauls Cathedral.  It really is a thrill to sing with approximately 100 other very musical choristers in amazing venues with world class soloists and orchestras.  It keeps me very busy and we perform in several big concerts annually.  Every year at this time I think I will have a break but after the holidays I will probably go back to sing some more!
