I recently read a post called “A crusade for a fairer wedding world for grooms”by Michell e brant and it got me thinking. The bride does get all the glory! I usually make a concerted effort when I am waiting with the groom and his “men” to pay them a compliment. Grooms do need reassurance just like brides do that they look great. I encourage them to stand tall and make minor adjustments to buttoning of jackets etc. Some grooms are incredibly nervous so a quiet little chat helps ease the tension while we wait.. and sometimes wait and wait! Don’t worry guys she will arrive eventually!
